Meals Plans
Meals can be used at any Dining Services facility. Meals do carry over from week to week.  Dining Dollar$ can be used at any on campus dining location for the purchase of food items only. Both Dining Dollar$ and meals can be used at any time throughout the semester.

Off-Campus Residents Plans

With the new Aggieland Diners Club offering Texas A&M students a discount when eating on-campus, Dining Services knew there needed to be a plan for students living off-campus.   This plan was designed to help students that don’t eat on-campus as frequently as on-campus residents.

Corps of Cadets Plus Plans

Approximately 127-135 Meals will follow the compulsory March-In schedule, to be determined by the Corps Administration. These March-In Meals are
served at Duncan Dining Center only. If you select the Corps 240/125 Plan, there will be approximately 105-113 unrestricted meals after March-Ins, or if you select the Corps 210/75 Plan approximately 75-97 meals will remain after March-Ins, which may be used at any of the more than 40 restaurants on-campus, including the “all you care to eat” option at Sbisa Dining Center.

At the request of the Corps Administration, additional meal deductions may occur for mandatory participation in FOW, SOW, or other special events.

Faculty & Staff Meal Plans

All the students are getting a discount when eating on-campus, so how can faculty and staff save money? These plans were specifically created to give faculty and staff the savings and ease that students receive when eating on campus. Faculty and Staff Meals are valid in Sbisa and Duncan Dining Center only. They rollover semester to semester, year to year, unless the faculty/staff member terminates employment with Texas A&M University. Dining Dollar$ can be used at all on-campus dining Services’ locations! Don’t forget, faculty and staff may also take advantage of the Add-On options at any time.

Add on Plans
If running short on Dining Dollar$ or Meals, more may be added to an existing meal plan. Any purchases made following the published University payment deadlines, including additional Meals or Dining Dollar$, are payable immediately.  To sign up for Add on Plans, you must have an active meal plan and it must be on or after January 9, 2008.

Additional Information for All Meal Plans

Carry Over...
A maximum of 100 Dining Dollar$ can be carried over each semester, with the purchase of another meal plan. No Dining Dollar$ will be carried over after the end of the Summer Sessions in August (SS II & 10 week Session). Meals not eaten do not carry over to the next semester.

Conversion...
Students have the option of using a Meal for entrance into Sbisa or Duncan or the daily Maroon Plate Special at all other Dining Services locations or you may convert your Meal to a 3 Dining Dollars equivalency to order anything on the menu. Remember, any purchase made with Dining Dollars earns you an additional 8% discount at the register (15% at Sbisa and Duncan)! All Meal conversions must be done at the register upon check out or by emailing dining@tamu.edu, with your name, UIN and number of meals you wish to convert.

Additional Facts...
The student Aggie Card must be presented to Dining Services’ cashiers for meal plan participation. According to University policy, no one else is permitted to use or borrow another student’s Aggie Card. Therefore, meal plan use is not transferable between students.

To add a meal plan, students may make a selection through the official university registration site under Fee Options during the time scheduled or sign up online anytime at the Dining Services website . Once the university registration is closed and/or meals have started for the semester, students will need to use the Dining Services’ web site. Meal Plans can be paid for with a credit card (when signing up through our website) or can be added to your university student account and are payable according to Student Business Services information under Tuition & Fees as published by Texas A&M University. Any purchases added following the published financial deadlines, including Additional Dining Dollars, are payable immediately. Changes or drops/cancels to a meal plan require an email request to dining@tamu.edu and are permitted only through the fourth week of classes according to the University's schedule for Tuition and Fee Adjustments. Meal Plans follow the University’s schedule for Tuition and Fee Adjustments.

Please note that all plans are based on a 15 week semester and include 8.25% sales tax.  Plans are valid from residence hall move-in through the Friday following finals.
