Do I save money if I buy a meal plan?
Yes! Meal plan costs represent a discounted meal. The retail value of the food purchase is higher for those who do not have a meal plan, prices for non-members average $7.99-$9.99.
Use your Dining Dollar$ anytime and get an additional 8% discount not offered to non-members (15% at Sbisa & Duncan) or purchase the Maroon Plate Special with Meals at most Dining Services facilities. This special is a full meal, non-members pay full a la carte prices.
How do Dining Dollar$ work?
Dining Dollar$ equals $1 towards purchases in any restaurant or coffee shop on campus. Use your Dining Dollar$ anytime and get an additional 8% discount not offered to non-members at all Dining Services locations (15% at Sbisa and Duncan)..
When can I use my Meals and Dining Dollar$?
Meals are served daily from morning to late night and on weekends beginning the first day designated as “move-in” to Residence Halls until the Friday following finals (and may exclude official University holidays). Hours and location availability will vary between semesters and during summer.
Where can I use my Meals and Dining Dollar$?
There are over 30 Dining Services locations throughout Main and West Campus. Please check our website for detailed information including hours, menus, and specials at http://diningservices@tamu.edu.
What if I have Meals or Dining Dollar$ left over at the end of the semester?
Meals and Dining Dollar$ rollover semester to semester, year to year, unless the faculty/staff member terminates employment with Texas A&M University.
Can I buy anything other than food with Dining Dollar$?
Dining Dollar$ may be used only for food purchases.
What is the Maroon Plate Special?
The Maroon Plate Special is a set full meal available at most Dining Services facilities that can be purchased with Meals. For non-members, a la carte prices apply.
Can I invite a guest to eat?
Absolutely. Use an Meal or your Dining Dollar$ to bring a guest to dine with you.
How do I sign up for a meal plan?
You may register for a plan at anytime 24/7 through our website. When signing up on our website you can pay with a credit card or with your student account.
How do I pay for my meal plan?
Yyou can pay for your meal plan with a credit card when registering on the Dining Services website.
